"Because of Gary's experience and knowledge I avoided losing my home and everything my husband and I had saved. My husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. At that time he was on Medicare advantage plan. this plan would only cover 80% of some expenses. I called Gary, explained the situation. He came all the way to our home and told us he could get Bob (my husband) on a supplement plan that would cover what Medicare did not. The plan started on May 1st, Bob had a heart attack on May 2nd and was in the hospital for about a month, at which time his cancer had spread to his lungs. In the end, the hospital bill alone was over $600,000. I only had to pay about six hundred dollars incurred prior to the new insurance. The kicker to all this was, at the time when Gary was helping us, his wife being pregnant with their fourth child was also diagnosed with cancer.
