What is Medicare Supplement Insurance?
Medicare supplement insurance (Medigap) covers medical expenses that Medicare Parts A & B do not. This includes deductibles, copayments and coinsurance costs, as well as other services.
You may find it surprising that Medicare does not cover all medical expenses. This gap in coverage creates an exposure to expenses that you are responsible to cover yourself or obtain an insurance policy that can help with that exposure.
Choosing a Medigap policy can be tricky without the help of an unbiased independent broker. Medicare supplement insurance is standardized. This means the benefits and coverages are mandated to be exactly the same regardless of which state or carrier it is purchased through. However, prices can vary drastically, and each carrier may have rate increases at different increments. Individuals who can be medically approved can change carriers, keep the same benefits, and retain significant savings in their pockets instead of giving additonal premium to an insurance company.
Gary is experienced with
Medicare Insurance
"I have a very unique set of experiences that most other insurance brokers do not have. For six years, I worked on the service side of the medical industry. I saw first hand how different insurance choices worked when it came to receiving medical care and services.
Few others are able to explain how your insurance choices will work before you need to use the medical care, but I can. I ensure that you will be an educated and informed consumer when you choose your insurance. Brochures you get in the mail from specific providers simply cannot and will not provide this."
