LONG TERM CARE

What is long term care insurance?
Long term care insurance is a policy that makes the costs of extended care more affordable by subsidizing monthly income. The primary benefit of long term care insurance is “Custodial Care” coverage. Custodial Care ensures that you or your loved one receive assistance with the activities of daily living. This may include eating, bathing, dressing, transferring (walking) and continence.

The expense of custodial care is managed through private pay or Medicaid assistance based on eligibility. For those who are not eligible, insurance coverage may be an affordable alternative that helps protect assets. Traditionally, private pay funds are generated in the following ways:

-
Liquidation of assets – i.e., selling of your property or savings
-
Family members absorb costs
-

Experience Matters
"Before starting my insurance company, I owned and operated assisted living homes for the elderly in North Phoenix. We sought to provide exceptional care for residents and their families during one of the most difficult times of their lives. While no amount of money can alleviate the physical and emotional burden the aging process brings, proactive planning can give families peace of mind."
